Pascal Liu is a Senior Economist and leads the work on responsible global value chains at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). He holds an MSc in Economic Development from the London School of Economics and an MSc in Agricultural Economics from the Institut National Agronomique de Paris-Grignon.
His main areas of expertise are responsible business conduct and investment in agriculture, agricultural value chains, sustainability standards in trade and multi-stakeholder partnerships.
Dr. Jean-Charles Gander
Chief Quality Officer, Migros Group
Dr. Jean-Charles has become the chief quality officer of Migros group 3 years ago. In this role he provides general direction of Migros Quality Organisation and leads the Q-strategic development of the Migros-Industry.
Looking at a food safety background of more than 15 years, Jean-Charles has brought his experiences together in his book "On the Table: A History of Food Safety". He has completed his PhD in Natural Sciences in the University of Freiburg.

Prior to this role she has been leading the global product development and innovation team of one of the leading testing, inspection and certification companies in Germany. Asli holds a masters degree in business from the University of Mannheim.

Food Safety Risk Assessment and Management Manager, Barilla
Graduated in Food Science and Technology at Parma University. In 2002 she joint Barilla G.R. Fratelli, managing the Food Safety Management System in Quality Department.
Currently she is responsible for the Food Safety Risk Assessment and Management at global level, she is Technical Ladder for Food Safety and coordinator of the Barilla Food Safety Emerging risks and Food Frauds program.
